Scholarships - Kutzner

Richard and Irma Kutzner Renewable Entrance Bursary (renewable)
This is a renewable $2,000 award for one recipient for 2024/25
To be considered for this competitive scholarship you must:
- Have initial admission into Burman University as a first year, first time student.
- Complete the application and submit a short written response. (To be reviewed by the donor.)
- Apply for and receive a Canadian government student loan of at least $8,500 or a U.S. government Direct Subsidized Loan equal to the annual maximum.
- Provide a final government student loan Notice of Assessment to Student Financial Services (scholarships@burmanu.ca) by August 11 (Loans take up to six weeks to process - apply early)
The award is applied in a 50/50 split between the Fall and Winter terms. A student must complete a minimum 12 credits each term in order to receive the full value of the award.
Eligibility to renew is based on meeting the minimum credit requirements, achieving a 2.5 GPA and continuing to demonstrate financial need through the use of a student loan each year. The maximum 4 year dollar value is $8,000.
The chosen recipient will be notified by August 21.
