New Publication from Burman Psychology Faculty

Congratulations to Dr. Dadria Lewis, Assistant Professor of Psychology, on co-editing the publication of Blessed Positionality: Reimagining Intersecting Subjectivities Between Black Women and Girls as Researchers and the Researched.

Co-edited with Dr. Charisse Southwell and Dr. Cirecie A. West-Olatunji, the academic volume centers Black women and girls as knowledge producers. It introduces Blessed Positionality as a framework for qualitative research. Bringing together perspectives from education, counselling, health, and cultural studies, the book explores new approaches to research and equity.
