Ruth Isabirye, 4th-Year Behavioural Science (England)
I am grateful to the Behavioural Science department for helping me figure out what I want to do in my career. Initially, I wanted to study social work, but I am glad I went with Behavioural Science as I now have knowledge I do not think I would have gotten. Because of the variety of disciplines we studied, I was able to get what I think is a fuller and wider perspective of what social work can be. I am now leaning more towards working in the humanitarian sector instead of “traditional” social work, and so far, I am loving the journey.
