Daveena Thomson
The Behavioural Science allows me to pursue my passion of helping individuals in a VARIETY of ways. With the combination of sociology, psychology, and anthropology that is incorporated in this program I do not have to choose one specific path. With this degree I am able to work in an assortment of human service positions or continue on to further my education through a variety of graduate school programs.
Throughout Practicum my professors and fellow classmates were both helpful and encouraging. They made it clear that if I needed any guidance, they would be with me every step of the way to answer questions, help me find a placement, and offer support. My practicum experience was memorable and taught me practical skills that I have already found to be useful in my part time/current job as well as in my personal life.
