International Student - Athletic/Music

International Athletic and Music – Returning

International students may be eligible for Athletic and/or Music scholarships after their first year on campus.

General Requirements:

Be a current student at Burman University, be returning the following school year and meet the entrance scholarship credit and GPA minimum requirements.

• Complete 12 credits each Fall and Winter term of the current and upcoming school year.
• Achieve a 2.3 or 2.5 year GPA in the current school year (Depends on the student’s declared program of study and the required GPA for graduation).

Athletic Scholarship
Join a Burman sports team your first year on campus.  Your name will be submitted to your coach for a scholarship evaluation at the end of the school year.  Awards are based on skill and commitment to the team and are awarded if you are a returning student with plans to tryout for the team in the following year. Participation each term is a requirement to receive the scholarship. Entry level scholarships begin at a value of $1250.

Music Scholarship
Join a Burman music organization your first year on campus.  Your name will be submitted to your director for a scholarship evaluation at the end of the school year.  Awards are based on skill and commitment to the ensemble and are awarded if you are a returning student with plans to audition for the group in the following year. Participation each term is a requirement to receive the scholarship. Entry level scholarships begin at a value of $1250.
