Newfoundland and Labrador

Students from Newfoundland and Labrador must meet the following admission requirements.

Completion of high school
English 3201 with a minimum grade of 60%
Four (4) additional grade 12 courses, three (3) of which must be academic courses
An overall average of 60%, with no grade below 55%

Program Specific Admission Requirements

Some programs require specific high school prerequisites. Unless otherwise specified, all prerequisite courses must have a minimum grade of 60% to qualify for admission. The prerequisite courses listed below must be presented as part of the five (5) grade 12 courses used to evaluate for admission.

Business Administration	Math 3200
Education Elementary	Math 3200 with a minimum grade of 60% OR Math 3201 with a minimum grade of 70% 3200 level science 3200 level social studies/second language (World Geography, World History, French, etc.)
Education Secondary Biology	Biology 3202 Chemistry 3202 Math 3200
Education Secondary Mathematics	Math 3200 with a minimum grade of 70% Chemistry 3202
Education Secondary Social Studies	Math 3200 with a minimum grade of 60% 3200 level social studies/second language (World Geography, World History, French, etc.)
Education After-Degrees	Completion of a 3 or 4 year bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 2.5
International Studies	Math 3200
Music	Audition is required
Nursing (Kettering College block transfer agreement)	Minimum grade of 65% for all courses English 3201 Math 3200 OR Math 3201 with a minimum grade of 70% Biology 3201 Chemistry 3202
