Overview

Burman University uses Google Workspace for Education Plus as the official platform for communication and sharing. A Burman Gmail account is provided for each student, faculty, and staff member. This account is accessible from any Internet-enabled device (i.e., a desktop computer, a laptop, or a mobile phone).

Details

There are two ways to access your Burman University Gmail account:

  1. Click on 'Quick Links' at the top of the page, then click on 'Campus Gmail'; or
  2. In any Internet browser, navigate directly to www.gmail.com and log in with your Burman email address and password, making sure to include @burmanu.ca at the end of your username (e.g., johnsmith@burmanu.ca).

Student accounts will remain active as alumni for up to 3 years after conferral or non-attendance. After that time, accounts will be deleted unless the Opt-In form (available here) is completed; after that, the account will be subject to deletion if unused for 2 years.

Multi-Factor Authentication is required on all Burman Gmail accounts..  Further information is provided on our MFA page
