Award Notification

General Notification Timeline: 

• Approximately 2-3 weeks after submission of scholarship application and receipt of any necessary references.
• Some awards require an evaluation from the Scholarship Committee. The timeline for these awards may be much longer. 

Possible reasons you have not receive an award notification yet:

• You did not qualify for an award.
• We are waiting for your transcripts.
  • Final high school transcripts are generally not available until mid-summer.
  • Estimated Academic Scholarship amounts may be posted on the student portal while we await your final transcripts.
• We are waiting to receive your references. 

Notification method:

• By your Burman email address. You may wish to turn on your email notifications.
  • Contact itticket@burmanu.ca if you are having trouble with your email.
• The Burman Student Portal's My Financial Aid section will also have a list of your assessed award amounts.
