Award Notification

General Notification Timeline: 

• Approximately 2-3 weeks after the submission of a scholarship application and receipt of any necessary references.
• Some awards, such as the Early Admission Tuition Scholarship, are automatic and you will not necessarily be notified directly. Current awards can be viewed in the Student Portal under "My Financial Aid". 
• Some awards, such as Leadership Scholarships, require an evaluation from the Scholarship Committee. The timeline for these awards may be much longer. 

Possible reasons you have not receive an award notification yet:

• You did not qualify for an award.
• We are waiting for your transcripts.
  • Final high school transcripts are generally not available until mid-summer.
  • Estimated Academic Scholarship amounts may be posted on the student portal while we await your final transcripts.
• We are waiting to receive your references. 

Notification method:

• By your Burman email address. You may wish to turn on your email notifications.
  • Contact itticket@burmanu.ca if you are having trouble with your email.
• The Burman Student Portal's "My Financial Aid" section will also have a list of your assessed award amounts.
