Students
Students living in the dormitory are placed with a roommate. The Deans assign rooms and roommates. Reserve your room early. This provides the Deans ample opportunity to place you in a compatible situation. The dorm opens for Fall Term in the last week of August. Students entering the dorm for Winter Term should contact one of the Deans when making their travel arrangements as the dormitory does not open until the first Friday in January.
Prospective students planning to stay in the dorm may contact one of the Deans for more information about Residence Hall policies and regulations.

Parents
Due to the increased number of students attending Burman, we don't have the available space to house parents while you're here dropping off your son or daughter. Staying in a dorm room with your child is awkward for their new roommate and makes it difficult for them to settle into their new surroundings.
If you plan to stay around Lacombe for several days, a list of local hotels can be found here.
Guests
During the summer months (May-July) Lakeview Hall accommodates guests who want to stay in the dorm for weddings, teacher conventions, and other planned events. These rooms are left vacant by regular students during the summer. Each room has two beds, a full bathroom, a desk/study area with a dresser and closet.

| Group Suite, 2 Bedroom (Riverton Hall): | $120/night (includes linens, full kitchen with full-size fridge, stove, and counters, living room, dining area, storage space, access to laundry, and two separate private single mattress bedrooms) |
| Group Suite, 3 Bedroom (Riverton Hall): | $180/night (includes linens, full kitchen with full-size fridge, stove, and counters, living room, dining area, storage space, access to laundry, and Three separate private single mattress bedrooms) |

Extra linens: $10/number of extra linens (no outside linen is allowed!)
All rates are subject to 5% GST and 4% Tourism Levy under 28 days.
Note: The rooms are located in a residence hall where students reside. Please be aware at times there could be late-night noise. No refunds will be given because of noise complaints or any other dorm activity.
