A security deposit equal to one month’s rent as well as the first month’s rent is required upon occupancy. Absolutely no pets are permitted in any on‐campus housing.
The assignment of units for new housing applicants will follow this prioritization:
1. Current or accepted for the upcoming semester Burman University students with resident spouse and/or dependent children or parents;
2. Current Burman University faculty and staff.
3. Current or accepted Parkview Adventist Academy students and parents or PAA staff.
4. Current or accepted CHCS students and parents or employees of the Alberta Conference.
(The non‐Burman student rental rate is $100/month more)
As landlord, the institution reserves the right to accept and place the applicant who best suits the housing unit available regardless of the categorization listed above.
Upon notice (by email or letter) of a placement, a non‐refundable deposit of $250 is required within 7 days to hold the unit until anticipated date of move‐in. Upon move‐in, the $250 will be applied to the security deposit.
