- Culturally Sensitive Options: Whenever possible, we include items that reflect the diverse backgrounds of our international student community.
- Emergency Support: For students facing financial hardship or unexpected circumstances, the Pantry offers immediate assistance.
- Community Care: The Pantry is more than a resource—it’s a symbol of Burman’s commitment to dignity, belonging, and practical support for every student.
How to Access the Pantry

Operation Cozy Campus
At Burman University, we believe every student deserves to feel safe, supported, and comfortable—especially during Alberta’s cold winter months. To ensure our international students are prepared for the season, the International Office is proud to host Operation Cozy Campus, a warm clothing drive dedicated to providing essential winter wear.
What is Operation Cozy Campus?
Operation Cozy Campus is a community initiative that gathers donations of gently used or new winter clothing items such as:
- Jackets and coats
- Hats, scarves, and gloves
- Sweaters and hoodies
- Winter boots
These items are distributed to international students who may be experiencing their first Canadian winter or who need extra support to stay warm.
Why It Matters
For many international students, adjusting to Canada’s climate can be challenging. Operation Cozy Campus ensures that no student faces the cold unprepared. Beyond meeting practical needs, the drive reflects Burman’s commitment to dignity, belonging, and care for our diverse student body.
How You Can Help
- Donate: Drop off clean, gently used or new winter clothing at the International Office.
- Volunteer: Assist with sorting, organizing, and distributing clothing during the drive.
- Spread the Word: Encourage friends, family, and community members to contribute.
