Keynote Speakers
Pastor Chris Holland is senior evangelist for Hope Channel International and President-elect of the Living Hope School of Evangelism. He previously served as Speaker/Director for It Is Written Canada. In 20 years of ministry he has additionally served as a local pastor, local conference departmental director and for the North American Division. Chris has been involved in media ministry since his early undergraduate years in college where he was involved with both television and radio programs. It is his sincere desire to know Jesus more and to utilize the many media outlets to preach God’s word with power. Since their marriage in 1996, Chris and his wife Debbie have served the Lord together and strive to do all that they can to fulfill His commission to take the Gospel to the “ends of the earth”. |
Bill Bickle has been Natural Church Development's (NCD's) Canadian National Partner for 12½ years, working with hundreds of congregations across the full theological spectrum. He has worked closely with dozens of Seventh-day Adventists churches and church-leadership teams across the country and works closely with National Partners in the UK, Australia and the US. His business background includes Accounting at Queen's and Business Administration at York, and 25 years with the Royal Bank of Canada in-branch banking, account management, and marketing management. Bill leads a small consulting practice from his home office in Port Hope, specializing in congregational health, through NCD and Restorative Practice (RP), dealing with conflict and restoring relationships. He and his wife are active in their local church and the broader community, especially in the area of heritage conservation. |
Dr. Lyle Notice grew up in city of Toronto. From a young age had a passion for the stage. He met a local actor by the name of Charles Officer who recommended him to an agent Lisa Burke. Lyle began acting and was destined to be star in Hollywood. One day as he was practicing method acting auditioning for a movie roll he was caught in a battle of spiritual warfare. After that experience he felt God calling him to ministry. In 2001 he enrolled at Canadian University College and prepared for pastoral ministry. Upon graduating in 2005 he then went on to Andrews University where he completed his Masters of Divinity. In 2008 he accepted a call to become the youth pastor at the Ottawa Seventh-day Adventist Church. He currently serves as the Youth Director where he works with pathfinders, community outreach, local mission trips, disaster response and media ministry. Lyle is a bit of a bookworm who loves skateboarding, djing, breakdancing, social media, social entrepreneurship and social justice issues. He is married to Cheri who is a grade 6 teacher. |
